We present a case about a 23-year-old young man with no relevant clinical history, who consulted due to a sudden decrease in vision in right eye that had leasted for days. We performed a complete ophthalmological and clinical examination to rule out the most common causes of neuroretinitis, and the condition was finally interpreted as Leber’s stellate idiopathic neuroretinitis. In this paper we review the main concepts about its diagnosis, evolution and management based on a case report.
